Abstract

A 4-year-old male cat receiving cardiopulmonary ressuscitation after cardiac arrest because of hypoxia during operation showed severe neurologic symptoms such as confusion, mydriasis, astasia, opisthotonus, head tremor, and loss of menace reaction and less electroencephalogram (EEG) potentials. While the neurologic symptoms gradually recovered in three years, the blindness and less EEG potentials remained.
