Abstract
A total of 2, 180 accidents of dog bite occurred in Tokyo for 366 days beginning with April 1, 1975. All of them, except 16, were examined in relation to climatic conditions.<BR>Dog bite tended to decrease in occurrence on rainy days. There was no correlation between the diurnal length of sunshine or humidity and the occurrence of dog bite accident. There were correlations between the length of daytime and the accident (r=0.8638), and between atmospheric temperature and the accident (r=0.6514).
