Description

The present paper deals with the characters of the first zoea of Cancer amphioetus RATHBUN (Brachyura, Cancridae) from the Pacific coast of south-western Hokkaido, North Japan. The characters of the first zoeae of four species of the genus Cancer and those of the majid crab Pugettia quadridens are compared.
