Abstract

Ceratotenuiala echigoensis gen. n. et sp. n. belonging to the family Tenuialidae is described from Mt. Kurohime in Niigata Prefecture, Central Japan. Ceratotenuiala bears peculiar bifurcate lamellae, by which the new genus is easily distinguishable from the known genera of the family Tenuialidae.
