Abstract

Toxicities of seventy five kinds of pesticides to Cyprinus carpio, Oryzias latipes, Daphnia pulex and Bufo bufo japonicus were examined. Experimental results are summerized as follows:<BR>Of the insecticides examined, cyfluthrin, cyhalothrin, cypermethrin, fenpropathrin, fenpyroximate, flucythrinate, fluvalinate, milbemectin, pyridaben and tralomethrin were remarkably toxic to the fishes, cyfluthrin, fenpyroximate, pyrachlofos, pyridaben and quinalphos were highly toxic to the daphnids, fenpyroximate, milbemectin and pyridaben were toxic to the tadpoles. While fungicides and herbicides were not so toxic to the four organisms.
