Description

A Japanese least weasel Mustela nivalis namiyei attacked a nest of the Japanese marsh warbler Locustella pryeri and predated its chicks in Hotoke-numa wetland, Aomori prefecture, north Japan. The nest predation was captured on video camera. We present information on the predator-prey interaction as it is important for the conservation of both species.<br>
