説明

In this paper, higher order beats are defined as envelopes of combined oscillation, whose frequency ratio is nearly fractional but not exactly fractional. This paper describes, <BR>(1) the theoretical period of the higher order beats, <BR>(2) the shape and the number of the envelopes, <BR>(3) the measured period of the beat sensation of the tone of the higher-order-beats oscillations.<BR>The examples of the higher order beats are also presented.
