Abstract
The effects of neuromuscular blocking agents usually vary among patients and are easily influenced by several factors like the species of the monitored muscle, the patient's age and the anesthetic. By knowing the wide variability of rocuronium-induced neuromuscular block, anesthesiologists should recognize that neuromuscular monitoring during general anesthesia is very important to maintain an optimum neuromuscular block for an individual.
