Description

The usability and functionality of a new infusion kit, which is contrived to include cephalosporin antibiotics and their dissolving solutions in a single container, was surveyed by questionare to hospital nurses engaging daily in preparation of injection.<BR>Judging from the results of the survey on the methods of preparation and administration of cephalosporin antibiotics, the kit was recognized to be applicable to almost all cases, for which drop infusion antibiotic therapy was required, from a viewpoint of its dosing form.<BR>The kit obtained also good reputation from the nurses participated in the survey on its sterility on preparation, safety, simplicity and economy on handling, and prevention of mistakes at the time of reconstitution of antibiotics.
