Abstract

The purpose of this study is to clarify transformation process of townscape by the townscape improvement strongpoint project in Obuse town, Nagano pref. We analyze the following three points.<br>1) We grasp the actual condition of design control of building, change of the usage of building and the open-garden project.<br>2) We analyze townscape policy of local government and residents ' consciousness about townscape transformation.<br>3) We clarify the factor of townscape expansion by the townscape improvement strongpoint project.
