Work involving the exchange of knowledge has been identified as the work style towards which workplace practices are evolving. Based on reported research focusing on work style and work performance behavioral diversity, this study aims towards developing a means of enabling the predictive management of workplaces and workplace environmental resources. Data from two case studies in open plan office environments in Japan is used to develop individual work style diagrams referred to as genotypes. Together with data on employees' time in the office and take-up ratios typologically specific contributions to the previously developed Model of Work Style Typology has been achieved.
