Abstract

The case was a 63-year-old man. The mass lesion of the liver was enlarged from 40×35 to 60×50 mm. The lesion was located in S6/7, and the size was 60×50 mm. On contrast-enhanced ultrasonography, the lesion was hypervascular in the arterial phase and appeared as a defect in the post-vascular phase.

The lesion was accompanied by multiple small hyperechoic spots without showing acoustic shadows.

The lesion was hypo-dense with high density spots detected in the plain phase and was enhanced in the enhanced phase during CT. On magnetic resonance imaging, the lesion had a low signal, a high signal, and when enhanced appeared as a defect on T1WI, T2WI, and the EOB hepatocyte phase, respectively. The accumulation of 18F-FDG was not detected in other organs by PET/CT. The patient had hepatic rejection and was diagnosed with a follicular lymphoma of the liver. The patient has remained alive for 12 months.
