Abstract
<p>The case was a 48-year-old woman with MYH9 disorder. When she was 18 years old, she was suspected as having an autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) for the cause of her acute hepatitis. Because of insufficient effect of steroid therapy against her hepatitis, laparoscopic liver histological examination was performed at 48 years old, resulting in no abnormal finding. Any liver diseases including AIH did not correspond to her elevated liver enzyme. MYH9-related syndrome can cause an alteration of liver enzymes without histological findings. Her elevated liver enzyme was considered as the MYH9-related syndrome. MYH9 disorder should be kept in mind as a differential diagnosis for liver dysfunction.</p>
