Description

The result of patchtest and photopatchtest is expressed as one figure in the following : -, 0 ;Ph?+, 1 ;Ph+, 2 ;Ph++≤, 3 ; +?, 4 ; +, 5 ; ++H≤, 6 ; IR ?, 7 ; IR, 8 and not done, 9. The layout, recording patchtest reactions, has 51 spaces, out of which 7 spaces are used as the number of case card, 2 spaces as the department name, 6 spaces as the date of patchtest performed, 2 spaces as the code of registration paper, each of 30 spaces as a space of test allergens and the remaining 4 spaces as the error check space or fillers. In other words, the test substance is expressed as four numbers, that is, the initial two numbers for the code of registration paper, and the last two numbers for the position from 01 to 30 at the registration paper. The result of patchtest is input as one figure, that is, from 0 to 9, at the correspon ding space to the test substance. The cummula tive data are output in connection with the patient identification master and the disease master. Thus, it is easy to obtain the patient name sensitive to the test allergen, the incidence of positive reactions in each allergen, and the sex and age distribution of the incidence of positive reactions to any allergen.
