Abstract

The study of a new local anesthetic cream containing 10% lidocaine was reported.<BR>The pain scores by pin-prickings were blocked completely after the cutaneous application of lidocaine cream.In the room temperature, lidocaine cream did not change in the appearance and the remaining percent of lidocaine after 3 months. Percutaneous absorption of lidocaine from the lidocaine cream was well and plasma concentration levels were lower than 2μg/ml in case of 100cm2 local application.
