説明

So called non-venereal sclerosing lymphangitisof the penis (NSLP) appears suddenly as a firm, cord-like lesion, which almost encircle the penisin the coronal sulcus. It was known that cordlikelesions might result from fibrotic thickeningof a large lymph vessel. In this paper, fourcases of NSLP, included three cases occurringon the dorsal resion of the penile shaft in linealor worm-like fashions were clinically and histopathologically investigated. Case 1 had a cord like lesions on the dorsal region of the penileshaft and edematous swelling of the prepuce. Case 2 had a cord-like lesion, which encirclearound the coronary sulcus. Histologically, thesetwo cases showed a few elastic fibers in thewall. Case 3 and Case 4 had worm-like firmlesion on the dorsal region of the penile shaft.Histological examination of these latter two casesshowed numerous elastic fibers concentrically inthe wall. It was concluded that four casesshould be regarded as NSLP, although the affected vessels might be a vein in latter twocases.
