Description

A-three-months-old baby boy had the clinical and histopathological features of solitary urticaria pigmentosa which had been present on his right upper back from birth.
When the lesion was rubbed with the blunt end of a pen, a palpable wheal developed on the lesion (Darier's sign) followed by generalized flushing.
The patient also has the stenosis of trachea, tracheomalacia, and often suffered from dyspnea and cyanosis after the development of generalized flushing by rubbing the lesion.
To our knowledge, we are not aware of any previously reported case of solitary urticaria pigmentosa with cyanosis as well as flushing in Japan.
