Description
In this study, the authors used two kinds of pipes of different diameters, with bent pipes of different angles and numbers, equipped with an acceleration sensor for test pumping at the actual site in order to study their influence of the simple evaluation of concrete pumpability. As a result, the authors were able to confirm that the frequency of vibration generated by the friction and collision of aggregates in concrete and the pipe walls was approximately 1,000Hz to 1,500Hz regardless of the size of pipe diameters, and demonstrated that vibration peaked in the bent pipe closest to the concrete pumping vehicle regardless of the size of the angle of the bent pipe. The authors also indicated that a difference in pumpability could be evaluated using irregularities in acceleration values and the size of the peak value in amplitude. For these evaluations, the results of measurements taken in the bent pipe at the first position of the concrete pumping vehicle and the horizontal pipe beyond the bent pipe was shown to be effective.
