Description

神経系細胞の培養実験では，取扱いが容易で安定した結果が得られるという観点から，しばしば不死化細胞が用いられている．しかしながら，不死化した細胞では，細胞の有する性質が生体内と大きく異なっていることが問題となる．一方，初代培養した神経系細胞は脳内における細胞機能の多くを温存しており，生体脳の機能を培養環境下で再現する実験系の構築に有用である．本稿では，神経系を構成する主要な細胞である神経細胞及びアストロサイトの初代培養法について概説する．
