Abstract
We report three cases of ball-throwing fracture of the Numeral shaft.
All injuries occurred when playing soft ball. One case was an “External rotation type” of the distal 1/3 shaft occurring in a 20 year old university student. Two cases were “Internal rotation type” of the middle 1/3 shaft occurring in a 12 ard 14 year old junior high school student, respectuely.
The an opinion that the “Internal rotation type” does not exist was disproved by our identifcation of two such jractires.
