Abstract

Electrophoretic banding patterns at five enzyme loci viz., aldehyde oxidase (AO), malic enzyme (ME), xanthine dehydrogenase (XDH), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and acid phosphatase (ACPH) were analyzed in Sarcophaga amplicercus Shinonaga et Tumrasvin. AO, XDH, ME were monomorphic and ACPH and LDH were polymorphic. The electrophoretic phenotypes at both the loci were governed by two electromorphs.
