抄録

During the course of perfusion experiments on the human utero-tubo-ovarian unit, the author found that perfused ovarian tissue is electrically active which might be originated from ovarian muscular tissue. More active recordings were obtained from the cases around the ovulatory or premenstrual period, but exogenous estrogen had no stimulatory effect. Ovarian electrical potency was decreased in cases of pregnant or climacteric women. Further accerelation of the electrical activity appeared by PGF2α in most of the cases.
