Description

We report two cases of radiation-induced sarcoma after chemoradiation therapy in nasopharyngeal carcinoma.<br>Case 1: A 40-year-old man developed a malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor (MPNST) in the posterior floor of the nasal cavity 10 years after treatment for nasopharyngeal cancer. Case 2: A 64 year-old man developed a malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH) of the lower gum 10 years after treatment of nasopharyngeal cancer. Despite radical surgery, the man with MPNST had a recurrent tumor and died of the disease.
