Abstract

From the viewpoints of anatomical and physiological specificity of human larynx, histopathological findings of laryngeal diseases were discussed.<BR>Mainly on the aging of larynx, smoker's larynx, vocal cord polyp, precancerous lesion, histogenesis of the laryngeal cancer and its stromal reactions, histopathologicalstudies were made by the method of whole laryngeal sections in the throat banksystem.<BR>It can be assumed that diseases of throat and their behavior depend onthe organ specificityof larynx and the outbreaks of cancer of the larynx can beseen only in human beings.
