抄録

It is required to identify ghost sources in order to take countermeasures against TV ghost trouble. Furtheremore, it is desired to locate complicated multiple sources, which often cause ghost trouble in cities, without moving from place to place.<BR>The location system for TV ghost sources that has been developed meets the above-mentioned requirements. It measures the strength of the desired and ghost signals separately in all directions and each associated delay time, and then locates the ghost sources by calculation using the measured data.<BR>A micro-computer included in the system controls the equipment and calculates the locations. Therefore, location of the sources can be precisely identified in a short time.<BR>This system has been confirmed by field test to be useful and practical.
