ビデオカメラに向かって歩く人物の衣服を画像認識する方法を提案する.直立正面向きの姿勢に近い人物像をビデオ画像から抽出し, 弛緩法を中心とする画像処理によって, 上下衣服の種類を判別する.実画像による実験結果を示す.監視システムへの応用が期待される.
