The amino acid sequence of a decapeptide which had an inhibitory effect on the blood coagulation was determined by Edman degradation, dansyl-Edman procedure, and hydrolysis by acid carboxypeptidase. The amino acid sequence of this peptide was determined as follows:<br>Ser-Gln-Leu-Gln-Glu-Ala-Pro-Leu-Glu-Lys.
