色が人間の内分泌系に及ぼす生理的効果について，唾液中に含まれるコルチゾールにより検証した．青・赤・透明の眼鏡を着用させた状態でストレス負荷試験を実施した（被験者内計画：n=23）．その結果，青色による内分泌系 (HPA系)のストレス反応抑制効果が認められた．
