抄録

The bolster anchor of railway car trucks absorbs longitudinal shocks and vibrations of cares when the hardness of rubber is adequate, but the restoring forces which are transmitted to the swing bolster through the bolster anchor have delicate influences on the vertical and lateral vibrations of cars. In this paper, the restoring forces of bolster anchors which are obtained by calculations are compared with experimental results, and the influences of restoring forces of bolster anchors are investigated by the running tests of cars which have different kinds of bolster anchor (various hardnesses and compressions of rubbers, and various lengths of bolster anchors).
