Abstract
A theoretical technique is presented for the statistical evaluation of the response of servo-systems with a non linear element of zero-memory type subjected to a Gaussian command signal contaminated by a Gaussian noise. In this case, we assume that both the command signal and the random noise have a fairly typical spectrum which is flat over a certain frequency bandwidth. The main purpose of this paper is to statistically discuss how the control performance of non linear servosystems depende on such important quantities as ; (a) the ratio of the center frequency of the command signal to that of the random disturbance, (b) the values of system parameters and (c) the signal-to-noise ratio of the input signal to the system.
