Abstract
Recent trends in automatic control systems have required much attention to the nature of the circuit parameters of controlled systems. This paper is devoted to the statistical evaluation of the response of nonlinear control systems with randomly time-varying characteristics subjected to a suddenly applied stationary Gaussian random input. The linearization technique is applied and the mean-squared value of the response is obtained by solving the integral equation of Volterra's type. As a typical example of the application of general procedure, the responses of the system containing a saturated element are statistically evaluated.
