説明

Recently the author obtained six specimens of Miniopterus schreibersi fuliginosus (HODGSON, 1835) with a white patch of different sizes the body from Yashima-dokutsu Cave, Kagawa Prefecture.<BR>Appearance ratio of the partial albinism of this species was 1.2% in this cave, almost similar to that of Akiyoshidai, 1.0%, reported by KURAMOTO, 1967. Five specimens out of six albinos have the white patch on anterior part of the body as in the most of albino bats.
