Abstract
An international design workshop was held in Chungju-city in August 2011. The main features of the intensive workshop are that more than half of the participants is undergraduate students and that members of a team have various differences in their countries, age, and specialties.<br>This paper aims to examine students’ achievements in this workshop. The students were unfamiliar with workshop activities, had little technical knowledge, and were weak in communication. However, the students could finally communicate each other if they made the best use of their present knowledge and communication skill and make a decision as a group.
