Description
The fisheries of Japan are now under exclusive economic zoning, and the amount of fishery output has begun to decrease. Although the production from of Japanese fishery is being urged to shift the main force from ocean fishery and offshore fishery into coastal fishery, the quantity produced by of coastal fishery has not increased. In Japan, a new fishery law was enacted in 2001, with the intent to improve the food self-sufficiency ratio. To achieve the goods of this law, efficient seed production is indispensable to improve the quantity produced by coastal fisheries. For seed production in mariculture, large scale foods (algae) reservation is most important. For this reason, in Japan, equipment for food cultivation is needed and various devices have been developed. In this report, the practical scale plants was examined confirmation of the design method the producing an optical radiant environment for algae culture, and bivalve seeds-and-saplings production, which are important elements of cultivation development for microalgae as foods are introduced.
