Abstract

Experiments were done to observe the attachment in vitro by using blastocysts. Rat blastocysts cultured in vitro escaped from zona pellucida and a phenomenon of attachment to the glass surface similar to the implantation was observed. The extent level of attachment was dependent on the plasma levels supplemented to the culture medium and a culture period. The attachment was observed when rat blastocysts were cultured in vitro in the presence of heated rabbit, guinea pig, goat and rat sera, but the attachment was not observed in the presence of unheated rabbit and guinea pig sera.
