Description
Previously, the daylit environment and the thermal environment were individually examined. It is necessary to establish a method of the overall plan and design, which integrates the daylit and thermal environments for the energy conservation, and to secure the quality of the indoor environment. Therefore, a minute, realistic model concerning the daylight and the solar radiation caused by the sun and sky is necessary. However, the proposal of the model by which sky radiance and luminance distributions are integrated is not seen. Authors have proposed the numerical equation model concerning the sky luminance distribution and the sky radiance distribution. This paper aims to improve the current method of classifying the sky conditions, and to propose a numerical equation model by which the sky radiance and luminance distributions are integrated. The clear sky index is defined based on the global irradiance, and the cloudless index is defined based on the cloud ratio, and the sky conditions are classified based on both indices. The method by which the relative sky luminance and radiance distributions are shown by the same equation is developed. And the equations for the sky radiance and luminance distributions shown in absolute value are proposed.
