抄録

Persistence of tralkoxydim herbicide in water-soil system was evaluated under laboratory conditions. The dissipation of herbicide from water present over the soil layer was faster as compared to water without the soil layer. However, the dissipation of herbicide from the soil layer was slower than from water. The dissipation of herbicide was confirmed to follow the biphasic first order kinetics. Initially the rate of dissipation, up to 3 days from water and 7 days from soil layer was relatively rapid and thereafter it slowed down. The half-life value of herbicide at the initial phase were 1.6-2.6 and 3.7-3.9 days in water and soil layers, and those at the second phase were 8.4-10.8 and 13.1-15.7 days, respectively. No detectable amount (<0.01μg·ml-1 or g-1) of tralkoxydim was observed after 45 days at low rate (0.8μg·ml-1 or g-1) and 60 days at high rate (1.6μg·ml-1 or g-1) of herbicide application.
