SG-Wall method, in which stabilized soil and geosynthetics are utilized together, is proposed as an anti-earthquake measure for port facilities. Its capability was verified by underwater shaking table tests using 1/24 model. In this study, 2 kinds of effective stress based dynamic FEM calculation, namely DGPILE-2D and FLIP, were carried out. Through series of comparisons between FEM results and test results, the applicability of these FEM tools to shake table test simulation were checked carefully. At the same time, the earthquake-proof capability of SG-Wall method was confirmed.
