Description

A major type of aphthous ulcers may be caused by essential pathologic conditions of periadenitis mucosa necrotica. As it becomes wide and deep, a long time is often required for cure, and a remains after healing.<br>The present paper reports an uncommon case involving a 56 year-old woman. The ulcer was accompanied by heavy bleeding on three occasions, resulting in the discovery of so-called Sutton's disease, of the severe type. Long-term observation of the case is described and discussed here in detail concerning the patient's clinical course, occurrence sites, treatments, etc.
