抄録
Commissioning tool for a centrifugal chiller has been developed. This tool operates on the remote observation system "HERIOS-R", and diagnoses the fouling of the cooling water tubes and coefficient of performance (COP). This tool was applied experimentally for a centrifugal chiller installed in a semiconductor manufacturing plant. As the result of the diagnosis, the fouling increased 0.055m^2K/kW every year, and more than 70% of the precipitation fouling was removed by the chemical cleaning performed in Mar. 2008. The COP was also restored significantly at this time. We will apply these data as the fundamental information for planning appropriate maintenance strategy.
