Abstract
<p>The aim of this study is to develop optimal operation technology for an HVAC system. The authors derived an approximately straight line to decide the optimal set point for the cooling water temperature from the exterior wet-bulb temperature. It was confirmed that energy consumption could be reduced using the approximately straight line by actual measurement. The authors verified the accuracy of the simulation tool that is used to build the optimal operation method.</p>
