Abstract
We have been developed a new transcutaneous communication system using human body as conductive medium. The transcutaneous communication system consists of an ASK modulator and its demodulator, electrodes, and carrier frequencies of 4MHz and 10 MHz are employed for full-duplex communication. Titanium mesh electrodes are used as a tissue induced electrode to acquire stable fixation between the electrode and tissue. The titanium mesh electrode has excellent characteristics as a scaffold, superior electrical performance. Animal experiments show that the transcutaneous communication system can communicate between everywhere on the surface of the body and everywhere inside the bodyb, and it is promising to be a next generation transcutaneous communication system.
