Description

Lyonetia yasudai Kuroko, 1964 is recorded from some localities of the southern part of the Kii Peninsula (Mie and Wakayama Prefectures), Japan, while it was known only from the type locality, Nachi, Wakayama Prefecture. Prunus lippeliana and Photinia glabra are newly recorded as the host plants. Lyonetia bakuchia Kuroko, 1964 is newly recorded from Shizuoka Prefecture as an addition to the distributional data in the original description, which was limited to the southern part of Kyushu and Yakushima Is. (Kagoshima Prefecture). Biological notes on the immature stages of the two species are given.
