Description

We examined fifth instar larvae of Euthalia monina and E. byakko of the Lao P.D.R. for venomous properties by observation of the form of the larval spines and a contact experiment of the spines to human skin. On the basis of our results, we suggested that E. monina spines contain a venomous liquid.
