Abstract

免疫学的便潜血検査 (FOBT) 陽性の為に行った全大腸内視鏡検査 (TCS) にて, 無症候性のアメーバ性大腸炎を2例発見した。両症例ともメトロニダゾールの投与を行い完全治癒を得た。アメーバ性大腸炎の多くは発展途上国を中心に分布するとされるが, 自覚症状の乏しい高齢者のアメーバ性大腸炎を経験したことから, 大腸がん検診二次検査においても同疾患を十分念頭に置いて内視鏡検査にあたる事が重要であると思われた。
