The purpose of this study is to measure the warm/cold thresholds in the oral mucosa and lips and lips neighborhood of a young fellow. By using a Thermal threshold meter attached with a new probe, thermal sensitivity of 12 oral regions（lateral upper lip, upper lip, lower lip, lateral lower lip, buccal cavity right, buccal cavity left, hard palate, soft palate, lingual tip, lingual border right, lingual middle, lingual border left） were measured in 34 young fellow（10 males and 24 females, 21.3±0.7 years）. The result showed that：（1） 0.1 ℃ / sec was more sensitive to the sensitivity than 0.3℃ / sec temperature change speed of the probe. （2） the warm/cold thresholds in the oral cavity showed no relationship to the female menstrual cycle. （3） the warm/cold thresholds in the oral cavity did not differ between males and females. （4） the 12 regions were divided in three groups by their sensitivity. The high sensitivity group（lip and lingual tip）, a middle sensitivity group（lingual and buccal catity） and a low sensitivity group（plate）.
