Description
This paper discusses about the relation between brand recognition and quality perception of the Kobe cake products. Kobe confectioneries are finding a suitable location in the Kobe area where is famous as the bone place of Japanese cake industry. Then, Kobe in confectionary brand is recognized and how local consumers, whether it is conscious. Survey was conducted in the Kansai area residents about this. As a result, recognition of the main confectionery brand exceeds 80%, and there is a strong correlation between the recognition of the brand and a purchasing rate. Consumption characteristics of the region, brand rather than taste tend to focus on frills.
