Description
The study aims at grasping the residential environment and actual state in the mentally handicapped persons' group homes and revealing group home stuff's consciousness and evaluation. We surveyed 126 homes by questioners and interviews and got their answers. Consequently, the living circumstances are various and they needed individual rooms with privacy and appropriate space for communal rooms. In the group homes there are peer-support among residents. While private space urges the relationship of residents, living noises such as one made by closing doors make their mental condition worse.
