Description

We will focus our attention on factions in Conservative Parties, 1920s - 60s. The function of the factions that was the informal organization in the Liberal-Democratic Party(LDP) is examined. In Paragraph 2, we will argue factions of the Seiyukai and the Minseito from 1920s to 1940. In Paragraph 3, we argue factions of the Liberal Party and the Not-Liberal Party-affiliated from 1945 to 1955. In Paragraph 4, we argue factions of the LDP from 1955 to 1960s. As a result, the transformation of the factions from 1920s to 1960s originated in the change of Japanese Constitutions and the establishment of the leadership public election.
