Abstract

This study describes a method to estimate the life of pavement, the method obtains the number at which fatigue failure of pavement occurs, from elasticity analyses based on deflection due to FWD and the theory of multi-layered systems and considers traveling track distributions, this study also proposes using the Structural Propriety Index (SPI) of pavement as a method to evaluate serviceability of pavement structures, i. e. the bearing capacity of pavement structures, and compares the results of research on the test road with MCI, then uses these results to examine the performance of pavement structures.
